Biography:
Senior infielder with lots of big game experience. Ash is a career .314 hitter who can play either third or second base. He owns one of the biggest hits in Stanford baseball history when he blasted a game-tying home run off Cal State Fullerton All-American closer Chad Cordero in the bracket final of 2003 College World Series. It was Ash’s first career home run in over 300 at-bats.

Ash isn’t a power hitter, but is someone that goes to all fields well and will make contact. Not a lot of speed. Excellent #2 hitter who has also seen time at the bottom of the order. Has a knack for coming through in the clutch. Ash has a career .387 postseason average and a career .385 CWS average.
